"Treatment Works, Recovery Happens" is the theme of the Behavioral Health Day which is planned for Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 10:30am at the Louisiana Legislature.  Behavioral advocates from across the state will participate in this event, organized by the LouisianaBehavioral Health Coalition, which promotes the availability of effective addictive disorder and mental health services.

Guest speakers will share personal perspectives on the power of recovery for addictie disorders, mental health disorders, child and youth bullying, and suicide prevention.

Bus transportation from Jefferson Parish and lunch will be provided for those interested in attending the event.
